Whirling in chaotic maelstrom
Of yellow and brown tones,
Preparing to descend onto the ground
To become a part of it.
My struggle was senseless
As everything on life-long chasing slipped off.
I ran, I stretched my hands to grab,
But every time fingers gripped emptiness.
My soil is exhausted,
Roots no longer feed the crown.
In feeble expectation
The last sand grains are flowing.
I’ll wither and go with autumn leaves.
Nothing that kept me alive remains.
